To select and appoint individual Personal Mentors for candidates and other members who would benefit from such support; to monitor and support their progress.

To explain to the members the benefits effective mentoring will bring to their Lodge for the future e.g. engaged and committed members.

Encourage the use of the Provincial web site, mentoring Quick Start Guides and checklists; the Pathway toolkit; and the Masonic mentoring web site.

At each Lodge meeting, to report on progress and enlist assistance if needed. Attend new candidate interviews, Lodge committee meetings, give report on the effectiveness of the scheme in his Lodge and if necessary make recommendations for changes in its implementation when needed.

If possible, to attend Mentoring conferences, workshops or seminars and encourage others, particularly Personal Mentors, to join him.
