History of Sudlington Bridge Lodge

Sudlington Bridge Lodge takes its name from the original timber bridge built in 1280 to span the River Thames at South Ellington (later known as Maidenhead). Founded in 1977, our Lodge continues to thrive, bringing together a friendly and diverse group of Brethren—both local and from further afield.

Our meetings are well attended by members and guests alike, who appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Sudlington Bridge Lodge. We take pride in our approach to Freemasonry, fostering camaraderie both within the beautiful Temple at Windsor and during the Festive Board that follows. Guests also have the unique opportunity to experience the memorable ceremony of Raising within this historic setting.

The Worshipful Master and Brethren of Sudlington Bridge Lodge would be delighted to hear from you. If you are interested in learning more about our Lodge or Freemasonry in general, please contact our Lodge Secretary at info@sudlingtonbridgelodge.com
