About the Temple

The Windsor Masonic Temple, a breathtaking masterpiece of history, tradition, and craftsmanship. With its stunning vaulted blue and gold ceiling, intricate wood paneling, and iconic checkerboard flooring, this remarkable space embodies the timeless spirit of Freemasonry. Home to Sudlington Bridge Lodge No. 8762, the temple stands as a symbol of brotherhood, wisdom, and heritage. We are incredibly fortunate to have such an extraordinary place in our midst.

The Windsor Masonic Hall in Windsor, Berkshire, England, was originally built in 1725-1726 as a Free School. The specific architect or builder is not well-documented, but it was constructed as part of early Georgian architecture, which suggests it was commissioned by local benefactors or the town authorities for educational purposes.

Later, the building was repurposed for Masonic use, and it now serves as a Masonic Hall. Over time, it has been preserved and is now a Grade II listed building, recognized for its historical and architectural significance.
